Pluie d'été - Summer rain

English text follows

Escargots
Summer rain.
The church’s bell is ringing eleven o’clock.
The sparrow chirp between two showers, fighting for a wet piece of bread with the starlings.
Children are now in holiday, and the school is deserted. On the boulevard, the noisy and colourful market draw the people living in the district.
In the small alley lining the public garden, snails from the grove are coming out of their shells, on the wet pavement. Here are growing two blades of grass and a courageous dandelion.
The rain stops.
I smile and look at the bright period.
